Hello and welcome to a little hack to avoid the age-old problem of untangling your fairy lights after the Christmas holiday season. As the festive season comes to an end, it’s time to pack away the decorations, and this hack is the solution to one of the most time-consuming tasks – neatly packing away your fairy lights.
The Solution
With this simple hack, you’ll only need an empty Pringles can and some electrical tape. To begin, simply tape the end of the lights to the Pringles can, wind it onto the outside, and use another piece of tape to secure it in place. When you reach the end, pop the power supply and any other parts inside the can.
This hack works particularly well for long sets of lights, like an 82 meter set. And, wrapping the lights this way also makes it easy to test them before you store them away for next year.
