Great value cabinet
Hello and welcome to another artful budget video! Today, I’ll be showcasing the IKEA Godmorgon bathroom cabinet. This cabinet is not only affordable, but also has a sleek and modern design that will complement any bathroom. In this article, I’ll be unboxing and building the cabinet, and sharing my thoughts on the process and the end result.
Unboxing
So, let’s start by unboxing the cabinet. The instructions are straightforward, and there are only a small number of pieces. The cabinet comes with glass shelves, hinges, and other hardware. The first thing I noticed is that the back of the cabinet is relatively thin, but that’s not a problem since it will be mounted on the wall.
The build
Now it’s time to build the cabinet. I have to say that IKEA really knows how to do flat pack well. I have fond memories of MFI, but I have to admit that the quality of the finish on IKEA products is much better. This cabinet is no exception, and the quality of the finish is excellent, especially considering the price.
I like IKEA
With a few little hiccups (that were completely my fault), the cabinet was installed. I have to say that I’m overall pretty impressed. There’s a little bit of an imperfection in the paint, but for the price, it’s not a big deal. The cabinet comes with four shelves, but I only used two. I appreciate the thoughtful design of IKEA products, and these mounting points are a great example. They have little plastic covers and give you the ability to adjust the unit and make it level, even if your holes aren’t drilled perfectly.
